Supporters Charter

Hamilton Academical Football Club recognises the special bond between the club and its supporters. It recognises and respects the invaluable contribution the supporters make to the life of the club. As such, the club will make every effort to ensure that its policies and practices are open, accessible and communicated as effectively as possible to its supporters.

The club will conduct an annual review of its customer charter and associated activities and make changes as appropriate in line with the guidance received from the relevant governing bodies.

Equally the club expects its supporters to fully endorse any policy decisions taken by the club to implement ground regulations and to ensure that safety and service conditions are met, particularly in relation to matters such as crowd behaviour, sectarianism, racism or on any other matter which reflects on the clubs reputation.

The club has in place evacuation procedures, contingency plans, proper levels of policing and stewarding to ensure that at all times when the stadium is in use a safe environment is provided for the supporters to enjoy coming to the stadium.

The club undertakes to take swift remedial action if service or safety standards performance falls short of accepted levels.

There will be an open forum held bi-annually in March and November for supporters to meet with club officials to discuss any issues raised. In addition all supporters are welcome to contact the club at any time to raise any immediate comments or concerns.

The club will review its standards annually.

Supporter Information

The club undertakes to keep its supporters informed of any activity at the club via the club programme, newsletter or through the club website.

Special Needs

It is currently club policy that provision will be made for supporters with special needs and their carers. All such persons will be admitted free of charge to any match held at the stadium. Senior citizens will be classed as over 65.

Ticket Sales

In the event of an all ticket match season ticket holders will get first refusal up to a specified date, thereafter tickets will go on general sale to other supporters. In the event of any match being abandoned, the tickets will be valid for any replayed match. Up to a specified period, one week before any all ticket match, all returned or unwanted tickets will get a full refund.

Reduced prices will apply should there be any restricted viewing at any match.

Visiting supporters will be allocated tickets for a predetermined section(s) of the stadium. The club undertakes to inform supporters via the programme, website and the media as to any fixture changes or rearranged matches.

Stadium

The club undertakes to provide a clean and safe stadium with the appropriate facilities, to provide access for those with special needs and to encourage an environment free of sectarian and racial abuse.

Merchandising

All replica strips will have a life span of at least one or two seasons from the date of introduction, unless there are contractual reasons which necessitate change. The date of introduction will be included on the garment swing ticket. Should any more frequent issue be requested from the supporters, then this will be given due consideration by the club. Prior to the next intended change of kit all supporters are welcome to submit ideas or suggestions as to design of same. Details of next change will be advised timeously to the supporters.

Supporter Contact

The club will respond to any contact from a supporter within seven days, by the most appropriate method, unless under extreme circumstances which renders the club administration unable to respond.
