Hamilton Accies and Burnley Football Club have agreed a transfer fee for the transfer of Brian Easton. Brian will travel to England for his medical and therafter join Burnley on their tour of California. We wish to record our appreciation of the way Owen Coyle conducted the negotiations and good fortune to Brian on the next phase of his career.

Both Clubs have agreed not to divulge the financial details of the transfer.

The speculation surrounding James McArthur and James McCarthy has no foundation. We attempt to conduct all negotiations in a private and professional manner and on receipt of any formal offers the player and his representatives will be fully informed. We will be making no further comment on transfers until we are in receipt of new, formal offers.
