Accies 1 Huddersfield Town 2

Accies lost by a narrow margin in Sunday's pre season friendly at NDP.  All of the goals came in the first half, with Danny Ward opening the scoring in the 4th minute when he converted a good cross by Aiden Chippendale. Alan Lee doubled the margin with a fine finish in the 23rd minute. Accies came back into the game after that and, moments after Grant Gillespie's shot hit the crossbar with goalkeeper Nick Colgan beaten, Grant Anderson scored from close range from a Mark McLaughlin pass.

There were a number of changes in the second half, with Willie McLaren and Dougie Imrie amongst those being brought into the game, but there were to be no further goals for the crowd to enjoy.  The visitors created the better chances in the second half but Tomas Cerny was in good form in the Accies goal and saved all their efforts.
