We have various Accies folk on international duty just now.

Goalkeeper Michael McGovern is away with the Northern Ireland 'A' squad in Hungary for their UEFA Euro2016 Qualifier in Budapest on Sunday evening.

Defender Stephen Hendrie, 19, came on as sub for Scotland u21s after just 25 minutes in last night's u21 qualifier in Slovakia, and is now en route to Luxembourg for the final qualifier on Monday evening. That was Stephen's u21 debut, having already played for Scotland at u17s, u19s and u20s. Scotland drew 1-1 in Senec last night. Head Youth Academy physio Alan Rankin was also there as one of the physios for the squad.


Young u17s forward Ryan Tierney was in the Scotland u17 squad training camp in midweek held at Airdrie. And u15s player Calum Sheridan is in the Scotland u15 squad who take on Switzerland in two friendly internationals next week. Finally, Secretary Scott Struthers has been appointed by UEFA as Match Delegate in Copenhagen on Sunday for the UEFA Euro2016 qualifier Denmark v Armenia.

We have also got Mickael Antoine Curier and Jesus Garcia Tena away with the Scottish FA doing their 'B' Licence coaching course this week. It is a special course specifically for professional players, and continues next month at the international break, and they will be assessed in November.
