Travel Directions: By Road

If you were familiar with the location of Douglas Park, then you can't go far wrong. The old stadium site is now a Sainsbury's supermarket and the new stadium is right behind it.

Whether approaching Hamilton from North or South, leave the M74 at junction 5, normally signed for East Kilbride. This will take you onto the Raith Interchange, which can get a bit hairy at rush hour but should be OK for football traffic. (If you're coming down from East Kilbride or using the Bellshill bypass to arrive from the East then you should also use the same roundabout).

From there, follow the signs for Hamilton, which should take you onto Bothwell Road, with the Sewerage Works, Cat and Dog Home and Racecourse on your left and the Fire Brigade HQ on your right. At the first set of traffic lights, turn right into Caird Street towards the Retail Park. The car park which can be used by visitors belongs to South Lanarkshire Council and is about 200 yards along the road on your left.

To get to the stadium, turn right into New Park St and then continue onto Auchinraith Avenue past Morrisons. if you turn left at the next mini roundabout, the short road leads you to the stadium car park, although spaces on match day are only available to club officials, guests and those displaying a current parking for the disabled permit.

Travel Directions : By Rail

The stadium is right beside Hamilton West station. If travelling from Glasgow Central, take a train from the low level platform to "Motherwell, via Blantyre". The trains normally leave at 8 and 38 minutes past the hour and the journey time is just under 25 minutes. There are also limited stop trains running to Larkhall from Glasgow Central leaving at 27 and 57 minutes past the hour. The journey time for these trains is around 22 minutes. Don't use Hamilton Central station as it's nowhere near the stadium!

Admission

Standard admission at New Douglas Park for 2006/7 will be £14.00 for adults, or £6.00 for children and OAP's. Visiting fans will normally be housed in the North (Spice Of Life) Stand, although if a low crowd is expected they will be allocated a section of the West Stand.
